I almost called this piece "Easy Peezy Lemon Squeezy" sundress; partly because of it's lemony yellow color, but mostly because it is an easy design that works up pretty quickly. This dress is mostly worked in one piece (with the ruffle added on) and it has very little shaping.

I used the base pattern from Barbie Asymmetrical Off Shoulder Dress to make this gown. There seemed to be an issue with my previous pattern (from my transcribing it from my handwritten notes to the computer), so I wanted to remake it and fix the problems I could find.

The pattern is for a dress for Barbie worked in continuous rounds from the top down. I used Patons 4ply soft cotton so its important to check tension if using a different 4ply yarn as any slight variation can make a big difference in the size.

Well, I guess you can see this dress is inspired by the humble carrot. Actually the inspiration came from the fact that the orange and green were sitting beside each other on the shelf lol! Either way, we now have a super cool carrot dress!

My favorite hobby is crocheting doll clothes. Using what I've learned from reading existing patterns, I create my own designs for Barbie. I have never liked to crochet doilies, because I never know what I would do with the project once it is done.

Here's another sundress for Barbie. This is a version on my earlier sundress but I've jazzed it up a bit. I've also added a hairband - just make enough chains to fit round the doll's head then work a round of dc.

This little sweater is very similar to my Teddy ribbed jacket, same simple rib and the current trend of block colours. Made in 4ply it takes less than 20g of yarn great for using up all those tiny amounts.

This design is made in 4ply yarn - ideal for using up those scraps of 4ply in your stash. The legs of the pants are knit separately and then joined to knit the body with a centre back seam. The cropped top is worked in one piece to armhole shaping with a centre back seam and one button fastening.

This green dress is the first crochet pattern I made and published for Barbie. I've ame nded the pattern to reduce the number of increases by increasing only on alternate rounds.

I had an odd ball of Patons soft cotton 4ply in a lovely shade of red in my stash. So what else could I made but some little crochet dresses for Barbie. The soft cotton crochets so well and is lovely to work with but any 4ply will do' Red dresses seem to be very popular this year, they are everywhere!

A simple crochet pattern using eyelash yarn and double knit. The eyelash yarn gives the dress a lovely fluffy appearance.
